(Starting Position)
Before you begin, adjust the lying leg curl machine to your height. If the machine is adjusted properly, your knees will hang off the end of the bench slightly and your legs will be fully extended.
Lie face down on the machine and lock your heels shoulder-width apart under the rolls.
Keep your torso and thighs pressed against the bench, and hold the handles to help stabilize yourself. This is the starting position.
(First Movement)
Now, inhale as you use your hamstrings to curl your legs to raise the weights as high as possible.
(Second Movement)
Hold the contraction for a moment, and then inhale as you slowly lower your legs back to the starting position.
Make sure to keep your thighs on the bench throughout this exercise.
