Mountain climbers and knee raisers when you are in a plank position, plus size, and a belly that totally gets in the way? I could NOT hold a plank when I first started. I had to find another way. I had to start with either my arms or legs because doing both at the same time same speed, wasn't an option either. Check out how I modified when I first started as a plus size woman on a journey to fit. PSSSTT! I have lost 2 feet in my middle with the help of these modifications PSSST x 2 I STILL do the standing knee raise as a active rest!

This is YOUR journey! I share mine in hopes to inspire others not to quit and to learn that this is a journey to fit. All of this was born out of my personal frustration over 3 years ago when I couldn't find another body that looked like mine in motion at over 350 lbs. People were only sharing their before and their after. The best of their journey, not the struggles. I started sharing what I found was lacking. I wanted to know what it looked like, sounded like, and felt like. I have many videos on my YouTube channel that shares my over all journey, now I take you through the exercises I use, how I do them, and where I started with them. This is for beginners or others that struggle on how to apply the vast knowledge available to use in health and fitness to our bodies. To break through what held us back. It is my hope that I inspire you to never want to quit again.

Some people find it nerve-wracking to start an exercise routine. They may not know where to begin, or lack the motivation to look. It's best to start out with fun in mind! Here are some tips to help you get going.

Turn on your favorite music while you are exercising. Music will get you moving. A lot of people instinctively react to music when they hear it. You can make your workout more rewarding and fun if you pick music that will make you feel like you are dancing. When you are having fun working out, you won't concentrate on how tired you may feel. Adding music to your routine will allow you to keep moving for longer.

Working out is much more fun when it's done with a friend. When you exercise with friends, you can catch up and gossip while jogging or doing reps at the gym. Time will move by much faster, yet you will still get the benefits of a full workout. Friends should always be there to support your efforts!

Take advantage of one of the cool new video-game workouts available. This is another option that will help you to stay motivated and not let fatigue take over during a workout. When you are focusing on having fun playing the video game, you won't be thinking of it as exercise. The excitement will help you to work through the fatigue.

If you feel flattered by your workout attire, you are more likely to workout. There are a ton of fun colors and styles in workout clothing that makes working out fun. Be creative when selecting workout clothing so that you will have extra motivation to workout.

Doing the same routine day after day will get boring after a while. You will avoid or skip doing a boring exercise and eventually give up doing it altogether. You do not want to bore yourself in an exercise routine; make sure to change it often. You'll find that not only do you enjoy your workouts more, but also that you are able to stay motivated and continue working towards your fitness goals.

Celebrating small accomplishments can help you stay motivated. You should make your special reward something that is of personal interest to you, such as a new blouse or a new sexy outfit. Be certain that your chosen treat is simple to get but something that you love. Staying motivated to move forward on your fitness plan is the reason for the reward.

Luckily, exercise is not actually a dirty word that means only suffering and hard work. It is a chance to have fun, but you have to know how to make it enjoyable. This article will help you add some spice and creativity to your workout to keep motivation high.
