This exercise targets your biceps and shoulders. You may alternate curls (performing one side, then the other), curl both arms at once, or focus on one arm, then switch to the other.

1. Position bench so that it's at a 45-degree incline.
2. Holding a dumbbell in each hand, sit on top of bench with knees bent, feet flat on floor in front of you.
3. Extend arms by sides, palms facing in.
4. Keeping elbows by sides, curl right hand up to shoulder, rotating palm to face back as you do.
5. Lower arm back to side position; switch arms and repeat.
