Aaah, Peanut Butter and Chocolate… 1 of life’s magical food mixtures! And severely, what would be a much better start out into the day, than these tremendous fluffy Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes? I feel I just went to vegan Pancake Heaven. The creamy peanut butter sauce is just somewhat warm, which makes it even much better and tastier. And they are topped with shaved chocolate. Yes!
The recipe makes eight medium to smallish – but tremendous thick – pancakes which is the best sum for two men and women. Or a giant stack for 1. I really do not choose. Specifically not when it comes to pancakes.
Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes

Chocolate Pancakes
- 1 cup (140g) all-purpose flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- pinch of salt
- two tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon day syrup (or maple syrup)
- ¾ cup (180 ml) unsweetened plant-dependent milk
- 1 teaspoon canola oil + more for spraying the pan with oil
Peanut Butter Sauce and Topping
- two tablespoons peanut butter
- ¼ cup (60ml) sizzling water (+ more till the peanut butter sauce is drizzly)
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 piece of chocolate (ca. 15g)
Directions
- Increase the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt in a mixing bowl, give it a rapid whisk. Increase in the day syrup, plant-dependent milk and canola oil. Whisk till integrated. Enable it sit for a couple of minutes.
- In the meantime, let us put together the peanut butter sauce. In a bowl, whisk the peanut butter, sizzling water and maple syrup. Relying on the Peanut Butter you might be commencing out, you could have to insert more sizzling water to make it drizzly.
