This effective single dumbbell fat loss workout consists of 5 exercises:

• Dumbbell Press
• Reverse Lunge
• Jump Squats
• Dumbbell Plank
• Suitcase Crunch

This combination of exercises create an all-over body workout that promotes fat burning and muscle development.

For this workout you should be performing 10 reps per side (where applicable).

Exercise #1 Single Dumbbell Press

This is a full-body exercise, that starts as a deadlift and ends as an overhead press. This is an effective workout for both upper and lower body muscles. Make sure to switch the dumbbell between hands with each rep.

Exercise #2 Reverse Lunge

Lower body focused exercise. Hold the dumbbell like a goblet and step back into the lunge. Tap your knee to the floor on the back step.

Exercise #3 Jump Squats

The only exercise in this workout that doesn't require a dumbbell. A standard jump squat. Make sure to land the jump as softly as possible to add more tension to your core, and recruit more muscle fibers.

Exercise #4 Dumbbell Push Plank

The focus of this exercise is more for upper body and core. Pushing around the dumbbell while in the standard planking position adds more development to your arms, while distracting you from the tension from the planking.

Exercise #5 Suitcase Crunch

A dumbbell exercise that concentrates on your lower abs. Hold the weight with both hands and make sure it stays high in the air.
