INTRO: Here's our demonstration of how to do "The Seal", a traditional Pilates exercise that is really good to work your back.

TRANSCRIPT:
Hi I’m Clancy from Inner Strength Pilates & Barre, thank you for joining me, today we’re going to try an exercise called “The Seal”.

So it’s one of the Pilates traditional, and it’s a fantastic exercise.

So this is going to help massage out your spine and increase mobility, and also work your core.

Okay, so let’s get started, you’re going to form your leg just in front of you, and bring your hands underneath your feet, so you’ll lift the feet off the ground, and you’re going to clap your feet together 3 times, so we go and 1, 2, 3.

We inhale roll back, and repeat the claps here, exhale to roll back up, try and stay up without touching your feet onto the ground, and we go, exhale up, good.

Feel that curve, sink that navel back to your spine, and back, and last one, keep stable, good.

So you try 8 to 12 reps of that one, and I hope you enjoy.
