Pilates for Beginners-Teaser Prep and Teaser One Variations-Worcester Pilates

In this video we briefly go over two variations of the Pilates exercise known as "The Teaser". The goal of The Teaser is to strengthen the abdominals while focusing on spinal articulation.

Teaser Prep or One Leg Teaser is a modified version that will help you to better execute Teaser 1. Once you feel strong enough in Teaser Prep move on to the more challenging version of Teaser 1 shown at the end of the video.

Go out and buy yourself some new workout clothes that make you feel good when you wear them. Sporting some appealing new attire may help you maintain a high level of enthusiasm for your workout program. Today's exercise clothing comes in a wide range of colorful styles, making shopping for new workout wear fun and exciting. Wearing your new exercise clothes makes you want to get going for a walk, a run, or a trip to the gym.


If you do the same workout every day, you will soon tire of it. You will avoid or skip doing a boring exercise and eventually give up doing it altogether. You might want to change your routine periodically in order to keep it interesting. You'll find that not only do you enjoy your workouts more, but also that you are able to stay motivated and continue working towards your fitness goals.


Spoil yourself with a desired prize when you meet a new milestone. You deserve to be rewarded for your successes! You accomplished what you set out to do. Reward yourself with a small piece of dessert or perhaps just some time with your family and friends. Buying new clothes to fit your new size is also a great way to stay motivated. Having a reward waiting for various milestones can really help you stay motivated to work toward your goals.


Working out is not a punishment and should not be viewed as one! Put fun into your workout routines and you will look forward to your exercise time. Follow these steps to make your exercise routine exciting.
