Pilates Classical exercise: Pendulum legs - MONDAYS with MARGOT

You work your whole body as you shift from side to side and the slower you go the harder it is.
Sit slightly back on your pelvis with legs bent and straight arms extended behind you, hands on floor.
Tighten your midriff and tip legs toward your chest. Extend legs into a V and stay tall on your arms.
Shift weight to left buttock and sway legs in that direction. Hold strong in the midriff and sway legs back to centre.
Alternate back and forth and do up to four reps in each direction.
Go slow and stop in the middle between repetitions.
To reduce strain in your neck and shoulders, move your arms farther away from your torso or go down on your elbows.
To reduce strain in hips, bend knees.
