Practice these gentle yoga poses for deep relaxation. This restorative yoga sequence requires two pillows, a yoga bolster, two blankets, two yoga blocks and an eye pillow.

Note: If you are pregnant or injured, some of these poses are not suited for you.

Although they may want to get into shape, many people are reluctant to start. They may not know where to start, or may lack the motivation to actually begin. The best way to get started is to have fun with it. Use some of the following ideas to help get you on the right track.

Certain articles of clothing will accent your best physical features. Make it a point to purchase these. This is a wonderful way to become motivated when starting to workout. Workout clothes come in all sorts of colors and styles. Therefore, it is easy to select a creative outfit to exercise in. Wearing these outfits will make you want to start working out.


Keep your exercise routine interesting by avoiding repetition. Switch it up as much as possible. Boredom is the biggest enemy of a productive workout. Without the proper motivation you could stop exercising altogether, which is a huge risk. This is why you should change up your routine regularly. This will ensure that you can remain engaged when you plan on working out over an extended period of time. When you stop an exercise routine, you run the risk of undoing all of the positive changes you have made up to that point.


You should plan incentives to use as rewards when you reach a goal to keep yourself motivated. Do not think you have to wait until you reach your last goal in order to celebrate. Make sure to choose your rewards in a smart way. Some examples of ways to reward yourself include a new clothing item, piece of musical gear, or a small portion of your favorite dessert. When choosing a reward, you should ensure it is one that has value to you and simple to get. If you stay motivated, you will accomplish more.
