(Starting Position)

To begin, secure your legs in the rolls of a declined bench and then lie back on it.

Stabilize your torso on the bench and position one of your hands behind your head with your elbow pointing to the side.

Your other arm should stay extended close to your body. This is the starting position.

(First Movement)

Now, exhale as you raise your upper body as much as possible while rotating your torso toward your extended arm.

Rotate your shoulder inward and tightly contract your oblique abdominal muscles at the top of the movement.

(Second Movement)

Hold the contraction for a moment, and then inhale as you slowly lower yourself back to the starting position

When you have finished your reps on that side, perform the same number of reps on the other side
